NIS America localized and released this Vita version standalone in September 2014 in North America and Europe.
Each game in this collection had improved graphics and additional content. It was re-released on October 10th, 2013 as part of Danganronpa 1.2 Reload, a compilation for the PlayStation Vita containing this game and Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. The game was first released in Japan on July 26th, 2012 for the PlayStation Portable.
